DHFH

DHFH, our bilingual heritage language app for Chinese-Canadian families, was built entirely on Mirie's infrastructure, from voice-interactive character design to the parent trust layer and content pipeline. It is the platform's first real-world deployment and a working demonstration of what any IP holder can build on Mirie.

Building a production app on Mirie infrastructure

DHFH launched on the Mirie platform as a fully bilingual, voice-interactive companion app for heritage language families. From character design through content pipeline to parent dashboard, every layer was built using Mirie's core infrastructure, proving the platform could take an IP concept from zero to live product on a single development cycle.

COPPA-compliant from day one

Because Mirie's architecture keeps AI entirely out of the child-facing layer, DHFH launched fully compliant without a single retrofit. The parent trust layer, content approval workflow, and analytics dashboard were live at launch, giving the DHFH team real-time visibility into engagement while keeping every child interaction safe and auditable.

Real families. Real conversations. Designed to engage

DHFH was built to test the core thesis: that a parasocial bond with a character drives language engagement better than passive media. Children using DHFH initiate phrases unprompted, return to sessions daily, and ask for their companion by name. That's the engagement loop Mirie is built to create, working exactly as designed.
