Mirie is a business-to-business (B2B) technology platform that licenses voice-interactive companion infrastructure to children's IP holders and brand partners ("Brand Partners"). Mirie does not operate consumer-facing applications directly.
IMPORTANT: Mirie does not collect personal information from children. Our Platform is designed so that AI and data processing exist exclusively in the infrastructure and parent-facing layer. Children never interact directly with AI, and no child data is collected or used to train models.
1. Who We Collect Information From
Mirie collects information from Brand Partners and their authorized representatives who access the Platform, visitors to mirie.ai, and individuals who submit inquiries, demo requests, or contact forms.
We do not collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where a higher age applies). If you are a Brand Partner deploying a consumer-facing application built on Mirie infrastructure, you are responsible for your own end-user data practices and compliance obligations in relation to your users, including parents and children.

We may collect contact information (name, email address, company name, phone number), account information (login credentials, role, and organization details), platform usage data (features accessed, session metadata, analytics), communications sent to us via email or contact forms, and technical data (IP address, browser type, device information, cookies).
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as financial account numbers, government ID numbers, or health information.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to operate and improve the Platform, communicate with Brand Partners and respond to inquiries, process demo requests and onboarding, send relevant product updates and marketing communications (you may opt out at any time), comply with legal obligations, and protect the security and integrity of the Platform.
4. Children's Privacy — COPPA Compliance
Mirie's Platform is designed with children's privacy as a foundational principle, not an afterthought. Mirie does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. AI systems are not present in any child-facing layer of applications built on Mirie infrastructure. No child interaction data is used to train AI models. Brand Partners who deploy consumer applications using Mirie's infrastructure are responsible for obtaining verifiable parental consent as required under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and any applicable state or international children's privacy laws.

For users and partners based in Canada, Mirie complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws. Personal information is used only for the purposes identified at the time of collection. You have the right to access your personal information held by Mirie and to request corrections.
